Git First: Chrome Extension for Navigating to First Commit
Git First is a chrome extension developed by kamranahmed.se. This free extension falls under the category of Browsers, specifically Add-ons & Tools. Its main purpose is to take you directly to the initial commit of any GitHub repository.
Once installed, Git First adds a context menu item called "Initial Commit" that appears when you right-click on a repository page. By clicking this button, you will be instantly directed to the first commit of the current repository.
Currently, Git First exclusively supports GitHub repositories. However, the developer has plans to expand its support to include Gitlab and Bitbucket in the future.
